This is the brand-new blog for my little business - very excited to start this big journey!
I must start by introducing myself - my name is Hannah, I'm 21, from Essex, UK, and this is Lilybirds. My first little business idea, it has now been operating about 3 months, and it's time to venture out into the world of social media. I stock fashion jewellery, the most beautiful pieces I can find, and only the best quality. I try to keep it affordable, with most items being around the £5-6 mark. My goal is to bring all these little beautiful pieces of style together in one place. I also make jewellery, though not very often, and I can repair or adjust any piece (with the exception of diamonds. Please don't send me those!)
I was selling handmade at craft fairs when a friend prompted me to sell online on facebook - and it has grown every day. Currently, we have 405 likes on facebook which completely overwhelmed me - and now this is the journey onwards and upwards from here.
I aim to have a website operating by the end of 2013, this is a little side-project aimed at creating traffic to drive to the website. And of course, to showcase my lovely items to more poor unsuspecting customers!
I will be updating this regularly with daily deals and of course, lovely new products as they come in stock.
Feedback is really important to me, I wouldn't be here without it, so if you have anything to say please feel free to comment. I like to hear improvements I could make!
Feedback on products is also super important - I can't create a website until I have honed down a style, and a specific group of products I keep in stock, with new lines added monthly. At the moment, I have hundreds of little pieces available, but mostly only one of each piece. When I've gauged popularity, I tend to re-order or re-make if necessary.
